“The Vault” is an ever expanding library of clawhammer arrangements, and one of the many resources available to members of the Breakthrough Banjo course.
(RELATED: You can now try the Breakthrough Banjo Course for 30 Days for FREE. Click here to learn more about the Breakthrough Banjo course.)
New material is added to the Vault all the time, much of which now comes from Breakthrough Banjo members, who are also able to suggest new tunes and songs to be added.
Almost all of the arrangements have two versions, typically one that’s Brainjo level 3-5, and one that’s Brainjo level 2 (Brainjo level 1 arrangements are used primarily for instructional purposes during the earlier phases of the Breakthrough Banjo course).
The Vault also includes two types of tutorial videos (demos below) so that you understanding precisely how the songs should sound, and the techniques and maneuvers that are indicated in the tab.
The first kind of song tutorial videos are tab “walk-through” videos, which move measure by measure through the tab. These are best for those earlier on in their learning journey.
The second kind of song tutorial videos are the tab “play-through” videos, which play through the song with the corresponding parts of the tab displayed onscreen.
Tab “Walk-Through” Sample for “Amazing Grace”
Tab “Play-Through” Sample for “Cripple Creek
Ultimately, the goal is for course members to always have access to new music that inspires you, and that’s appropriate for your level as you progress along the Timeline of Mastery using the Breakthrough Banjo learning modules as your guide.
You’ll have full access to the Vault after signing up to the Breakthrough Banjo Course, which is now free for the first 30 days (cancel at any time).
