Thanks for your interest in the “Jam Readiness BOOT CAMP.”
At some point, most banjoists get the itch to start making music with other musicians. And there are many great reasons for wanting to do so.
Being able to play with others also a necessary progression along the Timeline of Mastery – there are certain aspects of musicianship that jamming is ideally suited for developing. Even if your intention is to only play solo.
But for many aspiring, the thought of jamming, or playing music with others, is intimidating. The primary goal of this boot camp is to eliminate that intimidation.
Because single best way to develop your jamming skills, and develop confidence, is to actually practice jamming! So many folks walk into their first jam unprepared, not realizing that jamming is a separate skill in and of itself, one that must be practiced.
And this course will allow you to practice those skills in a way that recreates the musical aspects of a jam, without all those sweat inducing heated stares from your playing companions!
And the best part is that by practicing jamming, you’ll walk into those first experiences no longer feeling nervous and uncertain, but confident and enthusiastic.
