Josh I don’t know what you are doing to my brain but this is all coming so naturally. I have tried several ways of learning and always failed and given up. I find myself now playing the banjo all the time. Can’t get enough of it. My fingers seem to know where to go. I don’t worry about what I am doing and just make music. Thanks for the course. I can finally see myself as being a good banjo player in the future. Going to be fun sitting on my back porch after retirement picking away at my banjo.

Thanks so much for discounting the finger-style course to make it more affordable for current Brainjo clawhammerers like me. I have been wanting to try it based on my very positive experience with your clawhammer course. It’s like a Christmas present!
Four months ago I had a sub arachnoid brain hemorrhage and have had to re-train my brain in many ways. This system has been tremendous in help me to gain confidence in playing the banjo. Thank you for developing something that is challenging as well as therapeutic.
Very sorry to hear about the hemorrhage, Michael, but great to hear this has been helpful. I do think playing the banjo is one of the best forms of rehab. Thanks so much for sharing.
Josh, i have been playing about 8 years now. I play both Scruggs style and clawhammer. I play for myself mostly. The problem i have is i primarily play from tab, i do have a repertoire of a few songs i learned from Murphy Henry tapes. But i couldn’t play spontaniously or backup with any one. Need more confidence as well as technique. I practice at least 2 hours a day. What are your suggestions. Thoroughly enjoy your playing. Thanks Ralph Quintiliano
